someone who knows
trucking from the ground up

After three years working in the industry, from sales to logistics to running the yard solo, our founder saw a real challenge: many truck drivers on the road today struggle with English. According to the National Association of Truckstop Operators, approximately 18% of employed truck drivers in the U.S. are foreign-born. And with a new FMCSA rule coming into effect soon, that struggle could turn into a serious problem for truck drivers and trucking companies alike.
He spent his days helping drivers with everything — finding parking, repair shops, fuel, new trucks, and more. But while talking with them, one issue kept coming up: English. Drivers knew the road signs. They understood the rules…
But explaining them in English? That’s where it got tough. Most could describe things clearly in their native language, but when it came time to speak with dispatch or police, things got stressful.
So, he got to work!
Collecting feedback from truck drivers, he gathered a team of developers to create a tool that was actually helpful and not a boring app. And RoadTalkz, an app that is a visual, simple, game-based way to learn the English drivers really need, was born.
The result? A tool built for the real world of trucking, where drivers can connect pictures to meaning, practice pronunciation, and learn on their terms — during breaks, downtime, or even on the road.
